New portfolio: Airwaves

I’ve added a brand new portfolio of medium format 6×6 black & white photographs documenting the seaplanes and their surroundings in Kilen, Norway. If you’re local you might have noticed the ongoing dispute on whether Kilen Seaplane Club will be allowed to continue using their current location, where they’ve been active for years,  or if they will be forced to move based on accusations from the Norwegian ministry of climate and environment stating that their presence is harmful to the animal population in the nearby nature reserve. I’m not one to participate in the political aspect of this discussion, but I truly belive that both creatures of wings can live side by side as they have done now for quite a while without any particular negative effects. At least this historical landmark has been documented for the future whatever the outcome may be.

Shot with Hasselblad 503CW, Hasselblad SWC and Fuji GF670 on Fuji Acros and Kodak TMAX100.
